WAHL TO WAHL AUTO TERMS AND CONDITIONS OF WARRANTY

Wahl to Wahl Auto is committed to meeting our customers’ expectations to provide the best service and quality part possible.

ALL CLAIMS AND RETURNED GOODS MUST BE ACCOMPANIED BY THIS RECEIPT

NO parts shall be returned after ninety (90) days of purchase, unless additional warranty is purchased at POINT OF SALE. Unless extended warranty was purchased.

WAHL TO WAHL AUTO hereby warrants to the purchaser that all the parts are in good working condition. If a mechanical part is found to be defective within 90 days from the date of purchase, unless otherwise stated at time of purchase, Wahl To Wahl Auto shall, at its discretion, provide either a replacement or a refund. Any part returned for non-warranty purposes are subject to a 20% restocking fee and must be accompanied by this sales receipt.

NO reimbursements will be given for delay, labor, mileage or any other cost in installing and reinstalling a part.

WHEN buyer originally paid by check, refunds will be paid by check when part is returned.

WE are not responsible for any fluids that may leak from any part. We do drain them as best as we can so please be conscious of that when picking parts up.

NO returns or refunds on electrical parts, body sections, body parts, glass, lenses and all non-mechanical items.

NO labor costs are covered under this warranty, unless labor warranty is purchased and on invoice.

CORE EXCHANGE parts must be turned in at time of purchase, or a core charge will be applied. This core charge will be refunded if the core is returned within 30 days. All motors, transmissions, and rear end cores must be drained of all fluids. If fluids are not drained, customer will be charged a $25 drainage fee.

ENGINE WARRANTY INFORMATION: Wahl To Wahl Auto warrants the original purchaser the internal parts of its engines to be free of defects for a period of 30 days from the date of sale on receipt unless otherwise stated on receipt. Disassembly of engine without approval of Wahl To Wahl Auto voids warranty. The parts are covered by its warranty are as follows : engine block, cylinder head with valves, cam shaft, connecting rods and bearings, pistons, piston rings, oil pump, crank shaft and bearings, rocker arms, valve lifters and other internal parts. We also guarantee against excessive oil use and excessive smoking. WE DO NOT GUARANTEE AGAINST SURFACE RUST. This facility is located in mid upstate NY and surface rust should be expected on engine parts. Excluded from this warranty are all electrical parts, sensors, connectors, hoses, lines, pulleys, intake and exhaust manifolds, all fuel injection parts, and all other external parts. Any additional parts left on motor are for customer convenience only and are not charged for or warrantied. Accessories not sold with motors include alternators, distributors, carburetors, airflow meters, coils, AC compressors, steering pumps, flywheels, wire harnesses and manifolds. We do recommend replacing the thermostat before installation. This warranty is void if the new oil and oil filter are not used during installation or if the motor was overheated for any reason. Heat tabs are installed on motors and must still be present for a return. Motors must be installed by REGISTERED REPAIR facility or CERTIFIED MECHANIC. At time of pickup the engine MUST be strapped down. If it is not strapped or secured all warranties are VOID. Proof may be requested for a refund return. No returns for any reason after 30 days of the bill of sale, unless stated otherwise on the front of the receipt

TRANSMISSIONS, transaxles and differentials are guaranteed to work properly – Ninety (90) day warranty. New oil, screen, filter, and seals must be installed with tranny flush. Documentation required.

THE WARRANTY shall be voided if the part or parts are not returned to us in the same condition in which they are sold, or do not bear the identifying mark which appears on all Wahl To Wahl Auto’s parts. We shall not be responsible for any parts which have been altered, modified, disassembled, or damaged by misuse or accident subsequent to purchase. All parts are guaranteed for stock installation only.

THE SELLER, Wahl To Wahl Auto, hereby expressly disclaims all warranties or implied, including any implied warranty of merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose and Wahl To Wahl Auto neither assumes nor authorizes any other person to assume for it any liability in connection with the sales of these parts. We are not responsible for any loss caused from installation, removal, repair, replacement or use of this merchandise.

STANDARD WARRANTY DETAILS

Exchange will protect the original purchaser for 90 days from purchase and is limited to parts exchange only. Labor allowance is not included and labor is not covered. View details of our 90 Day Limited Parts Exchange below.

This warranty applies only to the original purchaser of the part and only as long as the part is still installed in the vehicle for which it was originally purchased. This warranty is not transferable. If any defect is discovered during the warranty period, Wahl To Wahl Auto must be informed immediately. All claims must be accompanied by the part and the original sales receipt. Defects must be verified and all work under this warranty authorized by Wahl To Wahl Auto. Transportation cost of any part to Wahl To Wahl Auto is specifically excluded from this warranty. Wahl To Wahl Auto reserves the right to repair, replace, or refund the purchase price of any part at its option. Such repair, replacement, or refund will satisfy all obligations under this warranty. Any improper use, abuse (including but not limited to overheating or low oil in engines and transmissions), neglect, careless handling, damage done by improper installation or repairs, or removal of a part from the vehicle in which it was first installed after purchase from Wahl To Wahl Auto shall void this warranty. Melting of heat tabs installed by Wahl To Wahl Auto if applicable will be considered evidence of overheating. Labor costs, including the cost of moving attached external parts from the purchaser's old part Wahl To Wahl Auto part, seals, gaskets, fluids, and similar supplies are specifically excluded from this warranty.

The liability and obligation of Wahl To Wahl Auto under this warranty shall not include any inconvenience, transportation, towing, down time, or direct or indirect or consequent damage, or delay resulting from any defect.

Labor expense coverage, when purchased, is a one time Labor allowance paid per flat rate hour not to exceed the purchase price on original invoice. This warranty is in lieu of any other warranties expressed or implied, including any implied warranty of merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose. No action Wahl To Wahl Auto under this warranty shall extend the original warranty period or alter its obligation. Any cause of action arising from any warranty action must be filed in Middlefield, NY.

Wahl To Wahl Auto warrants to the original purchaser the internal parts of its engines to be free of defects for a period shown on the invoice from date of sale. The parts covered by its warranty are the engine block, cylinder head with valves, cam shaft, connecting rods and bearings, pistons, piston rings, oil pump, crank shaft and bearings, rocker arms, valve lifters and other internal parts. Excluded from this warranty are the carburetor, fuel pump, water pump, all electrical parts, hoses, lines, intake and exhaust manifold, fuel injector pumps, all other fuel injection parts and all other external parts. Calibration and adjustment of excluded parts is also excluded from this warranty. This warranty is void if new oil and oil filter are not used during installation. See limitation below.

Wahl To Wahl Auto warrants to the original purchaser its transmission to be free of defects for a period shown on the invoice from the date of sale. The parts covered by this warranty are the transmission case and all internal parts including the torque converter. Excluded from this warranty are the transmission mounts, shifting linkage, flywheel, all other external parts and problems that result from not installing new front and rear seals when installing the transmission. Warranty is void if unit improperly installed or adjusted. Computer codes must be cleared and any external issues addressed prior to test driving vehicle.

Wahl To Wahl Auto warrants to the original purchaser that recycled parts sold by it will be free of defects for a period of 90 days from the date of purchase unless otherwise noted on front of invoice. Properly installed and refinished sheet metal parts are guaranteed, for an amount up to their original price, against rust and corrosion for one year from the date of purchase

Warranty and Labor Expense Coverage Limitations on Engines, Transmissions, Transfer cases, Axle assemblies and Removable carriers only:

Parts will be supplied Wahl To Wahl Auto, no charge, or Wahl To Wahl Auto will approve the purchase of these parts, which will be reimbursed at customer cost, plus labor based on Mitchel flat labor time for that vehicle calculated at our labor rate per hour. Labor coverage is a one time allowance for repairs up to the purchase price of the covered item. If no labor coverage purchase is indicated on invoice parts for the repair will be supplied Wahl To Wahl Auto no charge, or Wahl To Wahl Auto will approve the purchase of these parts which will be reimbursed at Jobber cost. At the discretion of Wahl To Wahl Auto, the item may be repaired, replaced or original purchase price refunded.

At the time the part covered by this warranty is returned to us, we will reimburse the original purchaser of the part listed on its invoice as described above, providing we determines that the part failed within the period of the Limited Parts Warranty, the Limited Labor Allowance (applies to engines, transmissions Transfer cases, Axle assemblies and Removable carriers only when labor coverage was purchased), if all conditions of the original Limited Parts Warranty were met, and the part must be replaced. Wahl To Wahl Auto retains all rights under the Limited Parts Warranty including the right to repair rather than replace any part covered by that warranty or refund original purchase price. The limited labor allowance covers only the specific part described by part type Wahl To Wahl Auto stock number on the invoice. The liability and obligation of Wahl To Wahl Auto under this warranty shall not exceed the amount of original purchase price or time period shown on the original invoice and shall not include any inconvenience, transportation, towing (including towing to any repair facility), down time or direct or indirect or consequent damage or delay resulting from any defect.
